Document archive

This application is used for scanning, describing and recording documents in the database. You can scan both single documents and large collections of them. For this reason, application functionality is divided into modules:

Label generation module - This module is responsible for generating labels for archiveboxes, in which are stored in, the original versions of scanned documents. This module communicates directly with the barcode printer.

Communication with the scanner module - This module is responsible for reliable and efficient communications with scanners via TWAIN interface.

Barcode Recognition Module - This module is responsible for the analysis of the scanned pages and retrieving it and recognize different types of barcodes.

Document describing the module - this module is responsible for manual or automatic description of the the document. With a manual describing operator introduces attributes values.
When automatic description is performed, the system automatically determine attributes values basing on previously found barcodes.

Document composition module - this module is responsible for combining the scanned pages into one document. It llows you to delete pages, change their order within a document, and move pages between documents. This module based on bar codes contained on each page can also verify the correctness of the composition of the document. For example, if you try to put in one document pages of documents from various agreements, it will be an error.

Document Conversion Module - This module is responsible for the conversion of single pages or entire document to DjVu format.
